Do you want to be at the intersection of art and science? We are looking for an experienced analyst who will help our internal teams apply the scientific method to discover new and better ways to help our customers. You will define and provide the necessary training and support which—together with tools and infrastructure built by our dedicated experimentation platform development team—will enable business experimentation at large scale.

What You Will Do:

• Be an educator to transform Vista into one of the most iconic data driven companies and take our culture of experimentation to the next level.
• Support the execution of A/B/n tests to optimize the customer experience and analyze results to provide insightful recommendations to the business.
• Demonstrate your strong communication and teaching skills and analytics experience to identify learning needs and help internal users understand and apply experimentation better.
• Steer the broader experimentation culture by creating a safe and effective learning environment for a broad community of experimenters from all walks of life.
• Be immersed in a product team (e.g., Product Owners, Data Scientists, Developers) where you will collaborate with partners and build an educational curriculum that helps internal users apply our tools, and continually bring forward ideas and insights to drive value for our customers.
• Collaborate in a fast paced, agile environment that focuses on delivering customer value early and often and be a value driven impact partner for key business stakeholders, influencing strategy and growth opportunities.
• Mentor other analysts and guide their work to deliver best-in-class causal inference for stakeholders.
• Support the experimentation group by partnering with peer level leaders to define team goals and preserve team happiness and health.

Your Qualifications:

• Proven experience of teaching experimentation
• Experienced in weighing pragmatism against robust measurement to design and complete experiments (e.g. A/B/n test vs. pre-post analysis, learning agenda priorities)
• You have coached and mentored junior team members, performing work through others
• Passionate about data and technology. You are an expert in SQL and proficient in at least one additional programming language (e.g., Python, R). You have deep experience in using data presentation/visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI.
• A resourceful and driven problem solver. You enjoy and have demonstrated ability solving complex problems, drawing inferences from data, and using your analysis skills and eye for business to identify solutions. You have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively deliver on projects supporting multiple business partners.

• Inquisitive by nature. You are comfortable with exploratory analysis and statistical techniques and are driven to find meaningful patterns and trends in the data.
• You can drive incremental change and transformation, evolving how a team works for the better, even in light of resistance
• A lifelong learner, open to new perspectives and willing to challenge you own assumption and adapt when new evidence comes to light
• Great teammate and collaborator, with deep experience partnering with cross-functional team members who come to the table with different perspectives and have a consistent record of developing creative approaches to solving problems.
• An innovator and educator, proactively bringing your perspectives and ideas, but always keeping in mind your audience and their personal learning journey.
• Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology
• Experience with Agile methodology and use of Jira to organise work
